Anna Robertson

Founder / Executive Producer

Anna Robertson is a San Francisco-based producer, writer, and filmmaker. With over a decade of experience in production, Anna has worked on Hollywood films such as Bumblebee, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Venom and produced shoots for clients like NBC Sports, J.P. Morgan, GQ, and Glamour Magazine.

Driven by her lifelong fascination with horror movies, Anna established Step One Films in 2020 to develop and produce culturally resonant genre films from unique perspectives.

A Bay Area native and former professional circus acrobat and aerialist, Anna’s eclectic artistic background fuels her passion for creating thrilling viewing experiences. Through Step One’s work, Anna strives champion underrepresented voices in the film industry and produce films that resonate across diverse audiences.
